Jonathan Steingiesser
Jonathan Steingiesser is the Head of Design at Property Finder one of the biggest property portals in the MENA region, headquartered in Dubai. He has advised startups in the US, Australia & UAE and founded meetups in the hope of sharing design practice globally.
Jonathan possesses a clear vision of the future of experience and service design and has the courage to pursue forward-thinking strategic design. In his role, he applies his passion for brand, craft, and design fidelity to guide research, design and product processes, mentor talented members of the design team, and collaborate with leaders to create innovative experiences across all of Property Finder’s products and services.
Prior to Property Finder, Jonathan worked at New York University Abu Dhabi, where he established UX research design as the first stage of web and mobile application developments. He also worked as one of the design managers at MYOB in Melbourne.
At MYOB, Steingiesser was the User Experience Research Lead where he divided his time between customer research, coaching and service design improvements. Jonathan brought a hefty combination of technical skills, creative vision, and innovative thinking to every project he directed.
With over 12 years of design experience in retail, tech, nonprofit, mining and education sectors, Jonathan fostered a passion for UX innovation and continuous improvement. Jonathan is co-organiser of the UX Melbourne Book Club and founded the UX United Arab Emirates Meetup which he continues to support remotely in the hope of growing UX awareness and practice in this emerging market and beyond.
